Inventory Update;

I'm still using my Khale and Henz set, with other bits to supplement, but have the Darklore Set and Scythe of Maxilar in hand ready for when I need them.

Level 75 - 78 Glacier Front:

OK, you're ready to leave the Mountains behind, and have your Darklore Set safely stored, yes? let's go. Head back up the way you came through all the levels of Inferno Mountains until you come to the Ember Wastes again, once here click for  Gebores Divide. You'll arrive at Gebores Divide North 12,5 and want to use the Portal at 3,16 Make sure you have the stamina and the gold ready - travel to the Glacier Front.

Now once there ignore the Frozen Divide, any and all of the other areas are yours to hunt until about Level 79 but I would suggest focusing on the Glacier Forest as you'll be seeing the other areas later. Oh and remember to equip your Darklore set at level 77, and this is also a good time to equip your Scythe of Maxilar  if you haven't already.

Tip: Watch out for a critter called Ice Lizard (Elite), nasty little beggar! You'll need a group attack each time, and he drops the Ice Lizard set - 4 pieces, armor, boots, shield, and sword. Now I went all out to get this set, spent ages chsing him down and it turns out the set is useless! Sells well though  You'll bump into him in the Frozen Lakes South aswell.

Level 79 Frozen Lakes: OK, from the Glacier Front select the Frozen Lakes and arrive at Frozen Lakes North 13,5 Take the stairs at 4,3 down to Frozen Lakes South arriving 13,3

Quest: Head for 12,14 and you'll find yourself with a Battle At Frozelore. You can't do it until level 79 so no point getting there early! It's a 2 part quest and the first is simple enough - kill 45 Ice Lizards. They can be found  right where you are and it shouldn't take too long - you gain 500xp.

Accept the second part of the quest and you are asked to retrieve a ancient tablet. No problem it's at Glacier Forest North 2,4   To get there you have to go back up to Frozen Lakes North (stairs are at 13,3), then take the stairs at 10,12 to the Glacier Forest South arriving 4,3 Now you want the stairs at 2,12 and arrive at Glacier Forest North 10,3  - Work around to 2,4 pick up the tablet (make sure to have space in your backpack for it), then back to where you got the quest (just reverse my directions) and you'll get yourself a Ring of Greater Light, which I sold, and 550 xp.

If you aren't level 80 by now then kill a few bugs until you are before heading back up to the Glacier Front.

Level 80 Glacier Plains South: You need to be Level 81 really to move onto the next area, I actually waited until Level 82 as I found the "bugs" in the next bit to be quite difficult at level 81. Hopefully you won't have the same problems I did as you'll have my tips to help you out.

OK, so at level 80 from the Glacier Front click for Glacier Plains and arrive at Glacier Plains North 14,13 head for the stairs at 6,3 down to Glacier Plains South arriving 11,3

Kill until level 81 then head up to the Glacier Front again!

OK, you've made level 81 and want to get on, but it's now time to start looking at the game differently. Until now you've been keeping your stats fairly even and killing in one hit yes? Not any more! The next lot of bugs have high hp and hit hard, we have to kill them as quick as we can, but stop them killing us in between our hits!

Check your stats; HP - ignore unless it's below 25. Defence - ignore totally. You need to focus on the rest in this order: Damage - hit them as hard as you can, Attack - hit them as often as you can, Armor - protect yourself between hits. Get those three stats as high as you can...

Inventory Update: Darklore Set, Scythe Of Maxilar, Gloves Of Upenlor, Helmet Of Greater Valor, Shield Of Darkness, Armor Of Greater Might, and I had Felorn Shoes but they are pricey Boots Of Almar will do nicely.

Level 81 Crypts Of Carnage: From the Glacier Front click for Frozen Divide, and from there click for Crypts Of Carnage. You'll arrive at Level 1 7,2

Be careful, kill one "bug" see how it goes, if you can kill it in 3 or less hits you'll be ok. If it takes more than 3 hits, or if it beats you, I suggest you review your equipment and level up points, you may even need to backtrack until you level up again like I did!

Tip: Carry as little gold on you as you can, if they kill you and they will, you'll lose alot. In fact I only made about 10k right through this level.

OK you can kill in 3 hits or less, go kill them then, what are you waiting for. Warning - Repair often, I found I needed to do it after every 3 kills. Expect to lose now and again as you will, it's much harder here. Feel free to go down to level 2 it's not much different, stairs are at

Critters: Watch out for Red Devil (Champion) on Level 2 and Thundror The Frost Giant (Legendary) on both levels. You'll need group attacks for both of these. The Red Devil (Champion) drops the Flail Of Zazu and Llythik. Thundror (Legendary) drops the 6 piece Frost Giant Set (Amulet, Armor, Axe, Ring Rune, and Shield).

Personally I thought the drop irtems from the Red Devil (Champion) were useless, although alot of people like the Flail. I didn't find Thundror at all despite looking and as his items can't be used until Level 100 I'll let you know more when I do.

Level 82 - 85 Haunted Swamp Ruins: OK I never found Thundror so I can't help with that - sorry!

My kit is basically still the same as it was in the Crypts Of Carnage, although you may want to consider Boots of Palemaz when you reach level 83. I found them useful.

OK Crypts Of Carnage level 1, back up the stairs at 7,2 to get you back to the Frozen Divide, and then click for Haunted Swamp arriving Haunted Swamp North 11,4. Work your way around to 10,12 for the stairs to the Haunted Swamps Ruins. This is your hunting area for the next few levels - Enjoy!

Oh enroute avoid the Skull Horror (Champion) he's a pig to kill even with a group.

Quest: Skulls of Horror is at 8,8. You need to kill 11 Skull Horrors and retrieve a ring for a young woman. So kill 11 of them, walk to 8,10 to collect the ring, return it at 8,8 You gain 2,000 gold and 4000 xp, and the xp will come in handy.
