Inventory Update;
I am still using my Carnage set, will let you know when I change it.

Level 50 - 52 Death Gorge; Ok, you are here at Death Gorge West and you are going to hang around this area basically until Level 53. You can pop to South and East if you want but West has by far the best "killing ground". There is oodles of gold to be had and the xp builds up quickly so make the most of it.

Level 53 - 54; Now you have a choice to make, you can stay here in the Death Gorge and head for the North section or you can move to the Klar Labyrinth (level 3) if you are really bored. Either way you are going after a specific Elite which is available in both sections. I stayed in the Death Gorge and went to the North section so that's how I'm going to write my diary.

I'm presuming you are still in the Death Gorge West as per my previous discussion, so head for the stairs at 9A3D which takes you to Death Gorge East 2A11D. Then onto the stairs at 9A2D arriving Death Gorge North 10A2D.

Now you are looking for the Ravager (Champion). You'll need a group attack every time you face him and I would recommend Find Item Skill at 100% - ask on the Guild Board for a buff. He drops three items which make up the Hellfire Set - Armor, Gloves, and Shield (I'm still using it at level 64 so worth getting). Persist, he is a PITA and drops infrequently I found, but you need to gain 2 levels so you have time...

 

Level 55 - 56 Slayers Forest North; OMG I was tempted to give up after the boredom of the Death Gorge but I'll warn you now brain death is approaching with the Slayers Forest Areas! But first you need to get there..

Head for the stairs at 4A12D back up to the Taymar Divide and click for Altar Forest arriving at Altar Forest East 10A10D. Don't worry about the critters just trek straight to the stairs at 7A4D which will take you to Hallows Cave ( lvl 4) 5A4D. Again ignore the critters and make your way to the stairs at 3A25D which will take you to Hallows End arriving 20A18D.

Now there is a portal on an island and that's what you are after. To get there you need to first get to the special stairs/portal at 19A5D, this will transport you to the island at 14A11D. Now get to the proper portal at 13A9D. Transport to The Undying Forest and click for Slayers Forest. Arrive at Slayers Forest North 11A3D.

Start killing the critters now and work around to 3A3D for a Quest. Now this is optional as you have to run around a fair bit to get what you need for it. The reward is a Ring Of Goplight, which when I was here was cheaper to buy on the auctions than attempt the quest. If you want to do it, mail me and I'll pm or email you with instructions.

Done? Made levle 56? Head for the stairs at 3A11D.

Level 56 - 57 Slayers Forest South; Ok you've arrived at 10A2D. Hang around, kill some critters, make level 57 and head for the stairs at 2A12D.

Level 57 - 65 Slayers Forest West; Yes that's right you need to gain 9 levels here! It took me 9 days, so I can emapthise with you, in fact as I type this I am still level 64 and totally sick of it!

You arrive at 12A2D, and go round, and round, and round in big square circles. Kill all the Burrow Grubs and Grofflesnout Lords you can find, but watch out for Elgrad The Charged (Elite) - you'll need a group attack for him. I'd also recommend having Find Item at 100 to persuade him to drop as he's a PITA. He drops the Galdwing Set, 5 pieces - Armor, Gloves, Boots, Helmet, and Rune.

Inventory Update; I personally didn't like the Galdwing Set, I am still using my Hellfire Set and I added in a Khale Set (Amulet and Ring) at level 59. I also have Thunder Helm (level 48), Inferno Axe (level 50), Rune Of Omar (level 52), and Almish Boots - perfectly crafted (level 52). They are still doing me just fine.

Skills; By now you should definately have AL at 100, and I also have Rage and Find Item both at 100. I am now working on Treasure Hunter.
