NOTE: From here on I plan to update the Diary at the end of every "section" I complete. If you catch up to where I leave off feel free to drop me a mail and I'll do a mini update upto where I am for you. Just seems that the goals are more per section now rather than per level.

Updated 9th April 2008 (Whovian): Due to new kit being released since I was at this level it now seems that in order to one hit kill around this level you should be using a full Plague Set (empowered helm, armor, gauntlets and boots) with your Reborn Dragon amulet, ring, shield, rune and axe. Update the layout at level 23 with a Primal Rune for maximum effect.

Level 20 - 25

Level 20 -24 Paladir Forest West, East, & Passageway;

There are 3 Quests in this area. One can be done at Lvl 20 - Building Bridges, one is at Lvl 22 - Orb Of Corruption, and the final one at Lvl 24 - Siege On Paladir. So lots and lots of boring levelling up. You'll be moving between the 3 areas I mention quite a bit so become familiar with the stairs. You donot have to do the quests in order, so if you want to complete them differently to how I list them (level allowing) feel free.

Moving Around; OK, you arrive via the telporter at Lotmar Island, click for Paladir Forest and arrive in the Paladir Forest West at 2A19D. The stairs to the Paladir Passageway are at 15A22D and you arrive at 3A3D. The stairs from the Paladir Passageway to the Paladir Forest East are at 36A4D and you arrive at 7A10D. On the way back the stairs are on the square you arrived on - yes? OK, now you know how to get around.

Critters; None of the critters here should give you any problem except for the Nightshade Champion - best to avoid this one totally unless your stats are ALL well over 100. It thrashed me big time and took alot of my xps and with all the levelling up to be done it's not a good idea.

Quests:  Like I said, do them in whatever order suits you but bear in mind the levels. I literally did them in Level order and was sick of going up and down those stairs! but it's good for the levelling.

First one is Building Bridges - you can do this as soon as you arrive (and level up a bit enroute). It's in the Paladir Forest East at 16A4D and you'll need a Wood Axe in your backpack - not equipped. If like me you discarded the one you found at the beginning of the game you'll have to buy one at the auctions. Clear your auction preferences and search for Wood Axe, you should be able to pick up for around 1000 gold pieces.

Accept the quest offered by the Dwarves and you'll get the option to chop wood, do it and you'll lose your axe but gain some Emla Wood and 100xps. Keep the wood in your backpack and head for where the Dwarves are building their fort - Paladir Forest West 21A3D. Once you hand over the wood you'll get a Blade Of Felmaz. Quest accomplished.

Next quest is Orb Of Corruption. You must be Level 22 to attempt this quest, don't ask why as it's simple. Find it at 20A2D of the Paladir Passageway. Accept the quest and you'll be told to kill Demonic Frogs until one of them drops an Orb Of Corruption. Shouldn't be too hard, the little blighters drop them all the time. Return it to the quest point and quest accomplished - you get a Demonic Mail and some gold as a reward.

Final quest in this section is Siege On Paladir. You must be Level 24 to start this quest AND have a PvP rating of at least 1200 (see below). The start point when you've levelled up (getting hard now as the xp gain is so slow) is at 7A15D Paladir Forest West. There are 2 parts to the quest by the way. First you'll be told to kill 50 wildcats, and when you return to say you've done that you'll be rewarded with a Freezing Death, 100xp and 50gold. They'll also ask you to help by going on and killing 25 Ramdall Stalkers. The Ramdall Stalkers are in the Ramdall Caves - which you can't access until Level 25! so sort your PvP rating whilst you level up.

PvP Rating; this is a score you can see on your profile which is raised or lower by fighting other "real people" not the computer generated critters. There are a couple of ways to raise your PvP but the method I used is described below. I used this as personally I don't like attacking people at random for no reason.

Bounty Hunting: I only do this when I need to raise my PvP level, not for fun like some people - your choice, it is a good way to make FSPs and Gold if you need it desperatly. So you go to "Upgrades" then "Use Points" and buy 100 Bounty Tickets for 1 FSP. Then go to "Actions" and then "Bounty Board" Set your preferences to 10 below your current level for the minimum and 5 below your current level for the maximum. So if you are level 24 you'd set it to minimum14 maximum 19 yes?

Then look at what's on the board. It will tell you the name of the person the Bounty is being offered on, with their level in brackets. It will tell you how much the Bounty is, in gold or fsps (but if you just want to up your PvP rating this is irrelevant). It will tell you how many times you have to defeat the person to claim the Bounty (usually 10), and how many Bounty Tickets it will cost you to try the bounty.

Don't go taking them all, or accepting one at random yet. First go and look at the person's profile by clicking their name. Check that your Attack score is higher than their Defence score, and that your Damage score is higher than their Armour score. If that's all ok, then go back and accept the Bounty. But be sure you have at least 100 stamina when you accept as it costs 10 stamina per battle (don't ever change it to any more than 10 it's not worth it).

OK, you've accepted the Bounty, now go to the players profile and click "Attack Player". The battle will happen and hopefully you'll win if you checked things correctly. Scroll down, it'll tell you how much you've increased your PvP rating by.

You can fight the person every 5 minutes if it's Bounty, so be sure to have the time to do it, you'll up that PvP very quickly - it only took me one incomplete Bounty to do mine. Once your PvP rating is as high as you need you don't have to finish the Bounty if you don't want to.

Oh and if someone beats you to the Bounty just repeat the proceedure until your PvP is high enough.

Level 25 - Ramdall Caves Level 4: OK, you made Level 25 and you are ready for part 2 of the quest. Head down to the Paladir Forest East, you need the Secret Passageway at 17A17D to get to the Ramdall Caves Level 4. Kill your 25 Ramdall Stalkers and return to the original quest start point in the Paladir Forest West 7A15D to get your reward - Coat of Blessed Mail, 100xp and 50gold.

Next you will move onto the Ramdall Caves proper, with you still at Level 25.....

Level 25 - 27

Level 25 - 27 Ramdall Caves: OK so you've made your way back to the Ramdall Caves Level 1 2A7D and are at Level 25 in the game. There are 5 levels to the caves and you will traverse them all, back and forwards until you are Level 28.

One quest to do - Cleanse The Caves, and it can be found at 2A2D on level 1 of the caves, so go accept it straight away. You need to kill the Nightshade Lord (Elite), and yes you'll need a Group Attack for this one again. You'll find this critter on level 5 of the caves, so use the travelling time to level up.

Stairs to level 2 are at 7A3D and you arrive at 6A2D
Stairs to level 3 are at 2A2D and you arrive at 4A6D - if you haven't sorted your Group already be sure to do it now. You need to have plenty of time for people to join.
Stairs to level 4 are at 5A3D and you arrive at 16A8D
Now you need to go to 14A3D to use the Passageway over to 7A13D once there use the stairs at 22A18D to access level 5 of the caves and kill the Nightshade Lord (Elite). Back to the start to report in and claim your reward - Fiery Armor.

Need to be Level 28, not yet? then up and down you go until you make it.

Levels 28 - 29

Level 28 - 29 Udan Forest, Eleven HideOut, & Girath's Den; Level 28? Good, let's move on. You are heading to the Udan Forest, so it's back to level 1 of the Ramdall Caves 2A7D and click the passageway to Lotmar Island. Once you see the map click for Udan Forest and arrive at 7A5D.

Now the first thing you see is that it's actualy lots of little islands with tunnels running between them, easy to get lost - behold I have the way for you   Now there are no quests in this section, but there are two Elites around if you want to go after them. You'll need strong Group Attacks for both, but the rewards are worth it. Personally from reading and talking to people I'd suggest going after Girath and leaving the Elf, but it depends which set of weapons you've decided to go with. Yes they drop some of the items from the sets you'll be considering about now.

Now whichever you go wth you'll need to be Level 30 by the time you tackle them, and you'll follow the same route most of the way. So kill, kill, kill enroute.

Take the passageway at 5A10D first and it will bring you out at 11A17D, then find the tunnel at 12A23D which takes you to 19A23D. OK you are on the island which has access to both Elites, made your mind up yet?

Access to the Elven Hideout is at 12A6D. Access to Girath's Den is at 26A3D.

As with all the Elite's they spawn every 15 minutes, and disappear as soon as someone kills them, so you'll have to hang around waiting a bit. I was here when the game was rolled back, and I actually killed Girath 3 times with no item drop. Some people say it was due to the site problems at the time, others due to the fact that you should be buffed with Find Item 100% when going after Elite's now. I couldn't face tracking him again... perhaps someone would let me know if they get the drop whether they were buffed or not - thanks.

Level 30? let's move on.
