Congratulations on Level 170. Time for another small equipment change. I am using a Samaels Void Set, spear, ring, and boots, with Greshas Rune, Drake Shield and Armor, Reindeer Candy, Helmet Of Reigmal, and Santork Gloves. Seriously get the best crafted pieces you can, it'll make a difference.

My Level Up Points at Level 175 which is when I have written this are below, but you really need to focus on Damage as I've found to my cost:

Attack  110
 Defense  30
 Armor 60
 Damage  137
 HP  20

Skills:

We had another free skills reset and I have now gone the following and they are working quite well for me;  Rage: 10. Fury:115. Beserk:115. DC:115. EW:115. Lib:115. LD:115. AL:115.

I am saving all the rest of my skill points in anticipation of level 200 and doubler ...

Level 170

Level 170 Dunale South:

Arriving at 3,12 there's nothing really to do here except level up. Don't go carrying alot of gold as the critters are getting really nasty. There's the Goatman again, you should be ok with him by now if you weren't before. Try one or two of the Flesh Warlocks, they have a really high damage so make sure you can one hit kill them or they'll kill you - end of story! There is also Malphas The Destroyer (Super Elite) around here somewhere, I didn't find him though. He's level 280 I doubt I could have taken him even with a group attack - be careful...

Once you've gained your level, if you like Elites, you might want to pop down to the Dunale Cave at 6,2 Gronak The Merciless (Elite) hangs out there, he drops a 3 piece Gronak Set (armor, blade, and shield) not to sure what it's like but it's not one of the recommended sets on the weaponary guides. Remember you'll need a hefty group as he's an Elite, along with a good Find Item buff and any other buffs you can get.

Done? head for the stairs at 8,8

Level 171

Level 171 Pelrei North:

Arriving at 4,6 there's only one kind of critter here, the Yari. He has a good Attack/Damage combo but you should be ok. Remember to make sure you can one hit kill, if you can't you'll die alot...

Quest Rabid Yari's:

Located at 15,6 a small boy wants you to help his village, you agree and walk of to the village at 7,17 where they'll ask you to kill 30 Yari. Once you've done that (surprise surprise) they have another request of you - they want you find the chief's son who disappeared during the attack, it's the kid who sent you to the village so off you go. He's asleep at 15,6 you'll have to carry him in our backpack so make sure you have space ... Take him back to his father and hand him over, you'll be rewarded with 6,000 gold and 15,000 xp.

Finish levelling up if you need to and move to the stairs at 9,2 - the exit at 4,16 is no good to you yet so ignore it.

Level 172

Level 172 Pelrei South:

First think to note is an equipment change, I've swapped to the Amulet Of Sidel, it's got a much better Damage, and I need it... otherwise I'm using the same stuff.

Arriving at 4,3 there's a Relic at 4,8 It's good one for your guild to have if you can take it....  I remember it fondly, I sat on it for 3 days waiting for my stamina to build up

No quests here, just critters and mean ones at that, but you should be ok. Remember make sure you can one hit kill, sacrifice all other stats to get damage up, if you don't kill in one hit you will die! Offensive buffs are a good help, get all you can. Last Ditch has saved my behind a couple of times in this area... Watch for the Yari (Champion) he needs a group attack.

Got your level? head for the stairs at 13,13

Level 173

Level 173 Pelrei East:

Arriving 14,15 take one step onto 14,14 and you'll fall over a quest. In my opinion it's the only reason for coming down here. There's two critters - Heath Genie who you've seen before and is nasty but doable, and the White Elnorphant (otherwise known by me as the beast from hell!) - no matter what I did I could not kill those Elnorphants ... I must have lost a fortune in stamina, gold, and tears trying different sets to try and kill him with no joy what so ever. Feel free to try, but if you are like me, best just to do the quest and get your level back in Pelrei South - might be slower as you'll get less xps per kill, but at least you won't be dying 3 out of 4 times....

Quest Dream Elnorphant:

Located at 14,14 as you sleep you dream of a white elnorphant (believe me I think I had nightmares about them for days lol)  who needs you to find his tusks so he can acend to the astral plane. Pop upto 15,4 and you can take them from over the door of a temple. Back to 14,14 and hand them over and you'll get 1 x Elnorphant Pin and 20,000 xp. I didn't find much use for the pin but the 20k xp is handy.

Now either finish levelling up here, or in Pelrei South, and when you reach level 174 head up to Pelrei North  and take the stairs at 4,16 for the Lands Of Heath.

Level 174

Level 174 Gumbrel North:

Arriving at 13,12 - you are now surrounded by White Elnorphants and the equally horrible Rocs. Well the Roc is a little bit easier to kill, but not much. I ignored the White Elnorphants and just killed Rocs whilst gaining my level in this area. Again, make sure you can one hit kill or be prepared to lose alot of gold, xps, time, and stamina. You need lots of Damage, lots of offensive buffs and Doubler is a good idea - if you can get 4 or 5 times the xp from a kill you'll level quicker and get out of there quicker....

There is a quest here, Balloon Trouble, but it's expensive as you have to use 150k gold and the reward isn't worth it, unless prices have changed alot since I was here. Better to buy the reward, if you want it, from the Auction House... Cleaver of Alzarn.

Finished killing Rocs? you wish lol - head for the stairs at 3,2 after you make your level.

Level 175

Level 175 Gumbrel South:

Congratulations on Level 175. Time for another equipment change. I am still using a Samaels Void Set, spear, ring, and boots, with Greshas Rune, Drake Shield, and Amulet Of Sidel I've now added to those a Marpolo Set, gloves, helmet, and armor. I did try the Banshee Set but in my opinion it is over priced and over rated at this stage of the game. Remember get the best crafted pieces you can, it'll make a difference.

3 critters here, Roc, War Elnorphant, and White Enorphant (Champion). The Champion needs a small group attack, and honestly I don't think the xp gained from a group attack is worth the stamina cost of making the groups. I left them alone. The War Elnorphants have quite a hefty Attack/Damage combo - but you should be able to cope, if not there's easily enough Roc's around to gain your level with.

There's portal at 13,4 but you have no use for it of yet. There is a quest though to liven things up.

Quest The Rebel Riders:

Located at 5,15 A camp of guards are in a rebellion of sorts and need help to kill of some riders, by which they mean War Elnorphants. Kill 20 of them and go back for your reward - 10k gold and 12k xp

After you gain your level, if you haven't been able to afford a Mapolo set and want one, or just want one to sell, head for the stairs at 10,9 and Marpolo Island. Only 32 squares and one critter - Marpolo and Cethedrum (Elite) the  keeper of the Marpolo Set, 3 pieces armor, gloves and helmet - I like it, I'm still using it at level 181. He does have a heavy hand though so make sure you go in fully buffed and with a heavy group attack - good luck.

If you have your Marpolo Set or aren't interested, head for the stairs at 8,16 and Naral North.

Level 176

Level 176 Naral North:

Arriving at 11,5 there's nothing to do here but gain your level. Only one critter, the Centagus Archer, his armor is high but you should be ok. Grab your level and head for the stairs at 7,2

Level 177

Level 177 Naral South:

Arrive at 3,3  and here you'll find the Centagus Knight to go with the Centagus Archer - you may even find a few Champions. The Champions are a pita and need a small group attack, but you should be able to handle the rest. Be sure you are capable of one hit killing and don't carry too much gold as they will sneak the odd one through.

Quest Tomb Seeker:

Located at 15,4 you come across and adventurer seeling a tomb, you join him just in time for him to be attacked and killed. Before he dies he gives you a vase, and asks you to find the tomb for him. You'll find the tomb at 5,14 you put the vase in place and a ghost will give you 30,000 gold and an Izorn Stone

Finish levelling up and head for the stairs at 11,17 - ignore the ones at 3,9 you aren't ready for there yet.

Level 178

Level 178 Naral East:

Arriving at 3,3 You have a portal (you don't need it yet) at 15,12 and a shop at 14,7 Critter wise we have Centagus Knight again, and the addition of the Centagus Marauder. Same as before make sure you can one hit kill and don't carry to much gold. If the Marauder is too much for you you can always concentrate on the Knight, will take longer but better safe than sorry. Also watch out, The Cursed Samurai (SuperElite) has been seen in this area - it's doubtful you'd be able to take him, even with a good group (I couldn't) but you can usually sell the location via the shout box and make a few FSPs that way.

Level up and head for the stairs at 8,9

Level 179

Level 179 Naral West:

Arriving at 2,3 you need one level here, and you may want to go back and get in the previous area! The critters here hit hard - you still have the Centagus Marauder, he's ok, but those Naral Pegasuses look alot sweeter than they actually are.... they don't have a weak stat on them, try a couple, see how you go. Oh and they have a Naral Pegasus (Champion) aswell - run for your group!

The Cursed Samurai (Super Elite) hangs out here aswell, same rules as before though.

Quest The Missing Egg:

Located at 4,13 those evil Naral Pegasi have let and egg loose, you should return it to the correct nest. Unfortunatly there are hundreds of nests around, luckily we know the right one - 14,7 drop it off and in the nest you'll find a Talisman of Corstal and 9,500 Xp.

Finish levelling up and head back up through the levels of Naral until you reach Naral North and the stairs at 10,14
